Proton has chosen its home motorshow in Kuala Lumpur to unveil a pair of performance models.
The firm already builds a rebadged version of the standard Lancer called the Inspira, and now has unveiled this sport prototype version called the Jebat. It Jebat features a wide body kit with enlarged wheelarches and a small rear wing, plus a contrasting white and matte black paint finish. On the inside, the car benefits from Recaro sports seats and a touchscreen Clarion audio system.

The Jebat is powered by a 237bhp version of Mitsubishi’s turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which is considerably less than the lowest power Evo FQ300’s 300bhp here. It’s still four-wheel drive however, and completes the 0-62mph sprint in 5.6 seconds and tops out at 144 mph. The Evo FQ300 manages 4.7 seconds and 155mph respectively. For more details click here.

It’s not only Jaguar cars experience this dilemma. I think automakers should start building a vehicle that can run in any weather, hot or cold.tradecarview
